Mayan Calendar
2012 Ancient Mayan Prophecy
Perhaps that time has not come yet when our, Gods would listen to the beats in our hearts, peace and happiness spread their glow, perhaps we would have to force Mother Time?.
Some Say The Jewish And Mayan Calendar End At The Same Time?
Eleizer Shulman in the Jerusalem Post did a tremendous article showing how in the book of Numbers, there was an error made by the Jewish scribes who kept the dates, and they are really at the same year we are now, if they corrected their calendar.
However the world does not blow up-Isaiah 45:17 and Ephesians 3:21.
Revelation 6:12
Satan is the prince of the power of the air, heavens Ephesians 2:2; so we wrestle against evil, wicked spirits, fallen angels, in high places,Bible teaches that some of these angels were bound in areas where they’re going to be loosed for Armageddon. But the point is, Elijah was caught up by a whirlwind into heaven, and these were angels, good ones, coming after him in chariots of fire. Maybe that’s what it’s all about, angels traveling in the heavenlies.
So 2012 could be the start of Armageddon or the return of Jesus
Thoughts?

2012 is predicted by some with New Age beliefs to be a great year of spiritual transformation (or alternatively an apocalypse). This is in keeping with an uncodified, eclectic belief system referred to as Mayanism whose roots can be found in 16th century Christian eschatology affecting Maya texts such as the Popol Vuh and the Books of Chilam Balam that were written down after the Spanish Conquest.
Oh, will you knock it off already! The Jewish calendar does not end….I don’t care what that guy said…he’s wrong!
I just tried to google Eleizer Shulman and got no articles. I googled the Jerusalem Post and found nothing written about him in their archives. There was one article written by George and Eileen Anderson (definitely not Jewish) about the Jewish calendar and it said nothing about Numbers. Where do you get this stuff from?
could be, i guess we will see in 5 years.
Uh Huh! Like so many other times in the past. Thank you for the sermon, but no thanks.
Are you saying that there is an error in the bible, the inerrant word of god?
2012 has me a little spooked for more reasons than that. Do some more research on it, there’s way more “coincidences” for that date. For one there’s going to be a major planetary alignment, our solar system and the milky way….this only happens once every some 25000 years. Smaller alignments have cause catastrophes so who knows. We’re also supposed to collide with some meteor or another in that year. We had a near miss with it in, what, 2003 or something but it’s supposed to hit us this time around. There’s more than that but that’s all I specifically remember. If something does result from any of this I don’t think it’s going to be an immediate end of the world type deal. I think there will be survivors, but whether or not we’ll recover is anyone’s guess.
That’s what they say!
God Bless
I think you have made some incredible leaps in non logic! Why don’t we get together and discuss this sometime in 2013?
Some are wrong.
Around 200 CE, when Hillel the younger standardized the Jewish Calendar (necessary because of the disbandment of the Sanhedrin) he calculated the time of the appearance of every new moon from then for 2000 years or so with near absolute precision using a formula known to the Sanhedrin for over a thousand years.
As for the role of Satan, Satan despite christian mythology is not an independent force opposed to God. If such were the case, then God would not be God. There is no magic about 2012 other than that’s when the mayans quit their calculations.
Interestingly, when I websearch the name “Eleizer Shulman” mispelled in that particular way, I get a single hit, a link to Jack Van Impe Ministries. Did you actually read the original “article”? Eliezer Shulman does not appear to be affiliated with the Jerusalem Post, except possibly as a letter writer or a quoted source. He has written books about the Jewish calendar but I seriously doubt he would connect it with the Mayan calendar. I don’t even understand what you mean by “the same year we are now”. What year would that be? Are you saying the Jewish year is actually “2007″? Preposterous!
Are you getting it? Armeggedon it!
Crimson, your own bible says that nobody knows when Jesus will return. Jesus is quoted as saying so himself. Nobody means nobody. Get over this and for your sake, start thinking about something that matters.
Ha ha ha you are certifiably insane.
The monks calender ended back with the whole y2k thing the worlds still around even though people thought it would end. Their calenders nothing more… someone got lazy and didnt finish their job. I know plenty of people like that now so I’m sure they existed back then.
Jewish calendar doesn’t end
“However the world does not blow up”
LOL!
You think we were worried?
Are we really gonna have to put up with this crap for the next FIVE YEARS?!
I don’t know much about the Jewish Calendar but I can tell you my interpretation of the Mayan’s views on the year 2012. I interpret that December 21, 2012 will merely be an end to the “world as we know it” not the end of our existence. They suggest that there may be some new accomplishment that will bring us to a new understanding of life. I personally hope we will develop telepathy. But nonetheless, the Mayan elders suggest that we should all fill our hearts with love for one another and act with love in our hearts. Nothing bad can come of being pure of heart.
)
I asked about that a couple of days ago. I think there is something to that date, just not sure what.
So What…
They can formulate a new one. Calender is merely a dairy of the time days passing by. It does not mean the end of the world. Although the end has been mentioned and if thou are a true believer… do not worry.
For as long as we have records the world has been going to end in cataclism.
Please take a look through this from time to time.http://www.abhota.info/index.htm
If in five years all of the believers are still here can the rest of us still take their cars and stuff?
that is pure drivel
