2012 Ancient Mayan Prophecy
Perhaps that time has not come yet when our, Gods would listen to the beats in our hearts, peace and happiness spread their glow, perhaps we would have to force Mother Time?.
Pacal the Great – Mayan Astronaut – Chariots of the Gods?
K’inich Janaab’ Pakal was ruler of the Mayan civil order of Palenque in the former Classic time period of pre-Columbian Mesoamerican chronology. During a long rule of close to 68 years Pakal was creditworthy for the building or extension of a few of Palenque’s most famous enduring inscriptions and monumental architecture.
Pakal took the throne at age 12 on July 29, 615, and survived to the age of 80. The name pakal stands for “shield” in the Mayan language.

Pakal's Sarcophagus Lid
Pakal’s tomb has embodied the center of attention by some enthusiasts because its appearing in Erich von Däniken’s 1968 best seller, “Chariots of the Gods?”. Von Däniken reproduced a drawing of the sarcophagus lid (wrongly marking it as being from “Copan”) and equating Pacal’s posture thereto of 1960s Project Mercury astronauts, interpretation the drawings underneath him as rockets, and boasting it as alleged bear witness of extra-terrestrial influence on the ancient Maya.
In the focus of that frame is a man seated, bending forward. He has a mask on his nose, he employs his two hands to operate some controls, and the heel of his left foot is on a form of foot lever with dissimilar adjustments. The backside portion is apart from him; he’s seated on a complicated throne, and outside of this entire frame, you see a brief fire like an exhaust system.
Von Däniken’s take isn’t conceived as a plausible interpretation by any professional Mayanist. For instance Ian Graham reacted, “Well I certainly don’t see any need to regard him as a space man. I don’t see any oxygen tubes. I see a very characteristically drawn Maya face”
Pacal Votan’s prophetical foretell is alerting contemporary mankind that our biological process is transforming,
“If Humanity Wishes To Save Itself From Biospheric Destruction It Must Return To Living in Natural Time”
2012 is predicted by some with New Age beliefs to be a great year of spiritual transformation (or alternatively an apocalypse). This is in keeping with an uncodified, eclectic belief system referred to as Mayanism whose roots can be found in 16th century Christian eschatology affecting Maya texts such as the Popol Vuh and the Books of Chilam Balam that were written down after the Spanish Conquest.
